Reading and Northern double header steam excursion

Reading and Northern double header steam excursion: Reading & Northern 4-8-4 No. 2102 returned to steam in April 2022, after an absence of more than 30 years.  Restored to operation for Andy Muller’s expanding passenger business, the famed Reading T-1 made her first moves on the morning of April 6 at the steam shops in Port Clinton, Pennsylvania.  After some test runs, including a loaded coal train, the 2102 went into passenger service.  In August, the 2102 and 4-6-2 No. 425 joined forces for a doubleheader from North Reading to Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania.
