Host David Popp is making good progress with his modeling, so he takes a moment to highlight some of the details that help shape the realistic barn and farmhouse setting on his Olympia & Sand Creek On30 display layout. In this episode, he talks through tree selection, fabricating custom figures, adding exterior/interior structural intricacies, and more. Great job David
David, excellent show as usual. Those pigeons really are the crowning touch for the barn. I, too, am now the proud owner of a Miniprints O Scale David Popp figure, albeit unpainted, and, like yours, he is sitting on a bench at the station waiting for a train. I also have a Gerry Leone figure but am still trying to figure out (pun intended) where to place him along with my Jackalope. Although my On30 layout models Central Florida, I am definitely interested in seeing what you come up with for a British layout. Also, is there any chance that all of the Olympia videos will be made available on DVD? As far as I’m concerned, they are a must have for model railroaders. Thanks again for all of your hard work and for all of the little tricks that you’ve been able to teach an old dog.
David My fingers sometimes don’t hit the keyboard like they use to make that I thought I heard you say you were going to start a 00 British railway layout, if that is so I surely am looking forward to that project!!!!! GWR or LMS???
Always fine work David, did I hear you say something about a )) British layout in the works, if that is so I for one is crossing thumbs awaiting for that project!!
As always, really nice work David.
