Model Railroader After Hours | January 4th, 2024. After Hours is an informal livestream hosted by Trains.com staff members... after the “work” of the day is done, there’s aways something else fun! This time, host David Popp, along with Bryson Sleppy, continue to make progress on their N scale T-Trak modules. Of course, the guys also manage to get sidetracked by conversations that may or may not have anything to do with modeling trains… or slot car tracks for that matter!

  1. Good to see more T-TRAK – going to give it a go!
Anyway, I have believe that the “gap” between modules is 2mm since the T-TRAK standards specifies that the width of a single module is 308mm while the track length is 310 (Kato 248mm straight plus 62mm straight, or 186+124). Thus there is a 1mm overhang on either side and so also a 1mm overhang on each facing side of two modules joined together. Besides, the width standard for a double module is 618 mm rather than 616. I think!

  2. David could move Olympia down and make a hidden corner, then extend Olympia to other scenes.
British rail project? Why not? Absolutely

    1. Sure re British rail – why not indeed? Maybe the new(ish) Hornby TT:120?
Heck, let’s go for T-Guage too while we’re at it (1:450). They even have a new CN F7. Now that would be fun!
