‘Steam to Victory’ set for June 13-14

SUGARCREEK, Ohio — The Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum will host “Steam to Victory,” a World War II-themed event paying homage to the role railroads played in the war, on Father’s Day weekend, Friday, June 13, and Saturday, June 14.

The event, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, will feature living history reenactors portraying World War II soldiers; military vehicles and equipment; artillery and small arms demonstrations; static displays featuring historic steam locomotives; short train rides on the museum groupds; tours of the roundhouse and its locomotive collection; and militaria and food vendors.

A schedule of events is here. Tickets — $5 for gate entry, $15 for the roundhouse tour, and $5 for train rides — are available online or at the gate.
