While continuing to monitor the situation at Pine Bluff, Ark., UP says its Chicago-Texas route through the city has reopened. Only UP closures as of June 5 were between Coffeyville, Kan., and Little Rock; Tulsa and Muskogee, Okla.; the northern Kansas City-Jefferson City, Mo., route, and some trackage west of Mount Vernon, Ill.
UP says itβs keeping a close eye on the southern Kansas City-Jefferson City route, where Amtrak reports its River Runner service remains suspended until June 10.
Van Buren, Ark., where the closed Van Buren and Wagoner Subdivisions join, has a flash flood watch in effect until Friday.
BNSF Railway continues to report closure of trackage south of Omaha and in several sections along the Mississippi River.
