  1. A great alternative to using glue to attach roofing shingles is to use 3M transfer tape #465. This tape allows you to put down adhesive strips without adding the thickness of the tape. The tape acts as a carrier for the adhesive and peels away after you have the adhesive in place. It can be used to permanently attach paper, metal, wood, and styrene. You don’t have to worry about parts getting warped when you use it. It is also very permanent, so you don’t have to worry about parts peeling off when you use it.

  2. Thanks David and staff for coming up with such good modeling ideas that we modelers can use as inspiration for our layouts. I’m not doing a kitbash entry, but I had two ideas for someone entering. How about a pet store with a full size (ceiling to floor) aquarium in the bay window section that can be seen through the outside windows and solid glass wall inside. Also adorn the roof with solar cell panels to provide warm water for the tropical fish and heat for the store. Thanks MRV staff.

  3. Hi:
I submitted a model for the last kitbash and enjoyed the contest very much. Looking forward to this kitbash. Have you determined the end date of the kitbash, as well as how we will submit the info on our entries? Looking forward to seeing all of the entries. Cheers.

  4. Hi David, Love the show! Have you decided to shoot the show on Wednesday instead of Friday? I’d like to make sure I’m near a screen to watch the show live.
    Thanks!

  5. As always, I am eager to see what Gerry Leone will be doing, but I am sure that the whole crew will end up making amazing stuff!

  6. Hi guys, I just tested the video on Safari today, and it seems to play fine. It is possible it had not finished loading to the site when you checked in on it. Give it another shot and let us know if it worked. Thanks!
