Milwaukee, Racine & Troy HO scale steel cupola caboose - road name 1407
Donβt miss this exclusive HO scale Milwaukee, Racine & Troy steel cupola caboose.
I noticed that the work surface is pink. When I was building my first model railroad someone offered me some of that pink insulation, but I turned my nose up.
here we go
I’ve watched the last 30 seconds of this video many times and have laughed out loud every time at Cody’s enthusiasm and comedic talent!
Cody was great on this video and so nice to see him finally work on n scale.
David, et al,
I know that these types of t-track modules are normally arrayed in a circle or oval configuration, but couldn't you also array them in a continuous line with the corner sections just turning like a snake. You could establish yards at both ends and have a small point-to-point or incorporate a crossing and have other sections forming another RR with a cross or an "X".
This is going to a very fun and crazy project! I love how this idea is well outside normal model railroad layout construction. Congrats on a great idea and for allowing many participants showcase their particular skills and visions, memories, etc.. I agree with an earlier post….you sent a module to Pelle?? OMG….LOL…this should be awesome…can't wait!
David,
I enjoyed this very much, I look forward to all the finished results, It shpuld certainly be a very unique layout.
Cody, Drew, the battle is for second place. You sent a module to Pele. π This is going to be a fun series to watch. Thanks again for taking it on.
David
You folks really get paid to do this?
I think Cody's rant is the best ending MR has ever had to an episode! Go get 'em, Cody!!
This is going to look like a railroad quilt by the time it is all finished and put together.
And Cody, when did Rick Flair take up model railroading? Love the trash talk.
As always, model railroading is fun. Keep up the good work.
I think this is a great idea and look forward to further coverage. Judging by the modules handed out, they will form a double track loop with a crossover. I only wish a module with a turnout for a siding was included so we could see how that is done. It probably would require two participants to cooperate or double size modules.
I am really looking forward to more episodes on the TTrack. Hope to get some great ideas from all the contributers. Happy Thanksgiving. Mike
The talk/music mix seems really off on this 'Ready, Set, Build' episode — Loud music, very difficult to hear any of the dialogue. Fixable?
Two silly questions:
1) What is the plan to clamp the modules together? Do they relay on their weight to keep them from walking?
2) Will they ever have legs or do they rely on setting on a series of tables or floor to set on?
Sorry I have not read the T-Trak information myself. Is that where all the answers are?

I'm really excited to see the T-Track progress. I'm really looking forward to see the Elkins Park station and how it's done. Specially since its local and a very nice station.
Shape Ways is doing some really good things. I'm sure you can get together and get us some Silverliners rolling .
Watching with anticipation, good luck to all.
Peace be with you,
Arthur
Can't wait to see how these turn out. The T-Track concept looks like a great motivator to get folks involved without having to commit to a basement empire or spare room.
This should be fun to see how everything turns out.
Cody, were you channeling your inner Macho Man or Ric Flair?!
This is going to be fun to see how all of it goes together!
Yay! Looking forward to seeing all these modules!
Cody, was that a Rick Flair wooo I heard? Next it will be a two out of three module match. Wooo!
Geez David, you sure have a lot of rules about having fun π
I can't remember the last time I laughed as hard as when I watched the last thirty seconds of the video and Cody's absolutely hilarious wrestling inspired promo. And oh yeah, the rest of the video was good too….
This is gonna' be good!
