  1. It always amazes me, how much detail and time that modellers put into making a layout, look so real in detail and visual effect. This layout is magnificent and I take my hat of to the people who have spent the time to do this layout.

  2. nailed it! beautiful work, and yes as Mr. Hoban I've got a cemetery planed now with some dear MRR (still living) friends who have been relentless about rivets and what is correct….let's see if they can spot this one!

  3. Great job very realistic. I have traveled highway 61 many times this just like going down the road. Excekent work. I only wish the video was longer. Thanks

  4. First rate video of a fine model railroad! I like the balance between good model trains, good structures, good scenery, etc. This is a railroad that looks fun to watch or to operate. Thanks for sharing this.

  5. I envy this type of layout (Nicely of course!) Such magnificent scenery and such marvelous Craftsmanship,More strength to your elbow Sir.
A great pleasure to view and watch. Thank you.

  6. Delightful! Looks like the culmination of many years of hard graft to get it to that level. Well done.

  7. Outstanding work, Sir. I particularly loved Cemetary Crossing. And since I am sadly lacking any moral scrupels whatsoever, I'm stealing that exact vignette and using it on my layout.
    Thankyou!

  8. Hi Steve,
Thank you for sharing your railroad. Very, Very nice.
I've watched it three times, I'm still in awe!

  9. Modelling is always faced with condensing real scenes down to space available on the model layout. You have done an excellent job in the modelling of scenes without putting too much in the allocated space. Congratulations; the realism you have created is superb. Thank you for sharing.

  10. Mighty fine work, Sir. Makes me want to get a copy GMR 2016 just to see your still shots and the layout itself. Or, not. It might influence me to change portions of my layout that I have already changed six times. Wonderful tour! Thank you and keep up the craftsmanship that is so very impressive.

  11. Steve Brudlos, Milwaukee Road. Beautifully built layout with terrific scenes that captures the 50's wonderfully. Loved the video.

  12. Wow Stephen, that is a very nicely crafted layout with great trackwork, lineside details, scenery, and well built industries. Nice to see such craftsmanship. Thank you for sharing your layout.

  13. Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. The cleanliness of the track work and scenery is awesome. Nothing is overcrowded and looks just right. Thanks for sharing this magnificent layout Stephan
