OK David, it's been two years since viewing this the last time and I'm getting ready to pour within the week. Just wanting to 'brush up' on all the techniques you've touched on in this series so I can make it as smooth of a process as I can.
Have you ever tried using a clear flat paint for resin creep? It does work and will save you time by using a small paint brush just paint it over the dried wet spots.
When I finish part one I have to look for part two etc. Why don't you have all the parts one after the other under the current video?
this whole river-series is very well done and is a great learning tool- very detail oriented.
This is a "must watch" video for pouring a river around rocks. There are some cool tricks with a brass rod to do the pouring.
Just watched this again to get some tips before pouring my river. If this wasn't a fast flowing stream where there wouldn't be too many riparian plants……..anyone know a way to simulate cattails growing along the riverbank?

How do you model a waterfall. It not level and the resin will flow down ????

How did you determine how much resin to mix to fill the river bed to your desired depth? Although I assume with the working time if you mix too little resin you can always top it up and it will mix together. As always really informative videos that make it look so simple.
Excellent video! This is just what I have been (unsuccessfully) looking for – a step-by-step demonstration of how to model a river. If it's true what they say about a picture being worth a thousand words, then a video is even that much more informative. Keep up the good work.

Great video David… been 24 years since I first tried modeling water with a product called Envirotex. I like your helpful tips with extra scenery along the sides and for adding a tint to the water. My layout has water projects and your ideas will make it look more realistic! BTW, how did you model the rail guards over each bridge?
