  1. David,
You rock! This is what I like about MRVP. As I progress on my own layout, I can go back and watch the appropriate series for the project I'm working on. You do an excellent job of explaining each step and believe you are a mirror image of what I watched Malcom Furlow demonstrate years ago. Thanks to Kent, Ben and Jenny with video editing, you avoid making the viewers watch paint dry! Keep up the good work MRVP gang! Onward!

  2. David; You did a super job and bringing it ot us the techniquie and materials.. Great, great job..Can't wait to try!

  3. I like the dark red brown for a first layer color. The cream is a good idea, too. The music for this logging series is very appropriate. When you think of railroad music you think of bluegrass and country music. People like Johnny Cash, Boxcar Willie and Jimmie Rogers defined the train music genre. Your music theme follows in their footsteps.

  4. What great tips for painting David. I'm about to launch into painting some rock faces on my layout, your video was right in time. The combination of the rubber rock and sculptamold faces when painted is amazing….thanks.

  5. Excellent use of artist's tecniques for the layman. Lighter accent coloring does enhance the texture of the rock formations. I'll refer to this when I rehab some of my layout soon! Thanks, David.

  6. David, Nice work can hardly wait to get started on my mountain sides for my layout. I will be doing a great deal of rock work!
