Great job walking us through this process.Really appreciate the detailed explanations and examples for all aspects (paining the cut stone wall, painting the lake surface, working with sculptamold). I am modeling a canal area in Lowell where the cut stone canals border the canal water – look forward to trying this process out. Thank you.
Did I miss the part where you showed how you kid the seam between the two sections? If not, can you show how you hid the seam? I really enjoyed watching the project.
Nicely added detail David. Kamloops Lake area is really coming together!
Nice work David, those waves look very realistic. When are you going to add the pontoon boat with Charlie, Drew and Kent in it? Their idea of using the boat to get closer to the rail line action was very instrumental in bringing this layout to fruition. Their photography along the lake really set the stage for the layout scenery and trackwork. Thanks.
That sure are some neat stuff, and looks easy enough for a caveman to apply. The plexiglass also beats the heck out of using real glass or painting the plywood blue.
Should have asked this sooner, but why is one culvert all the way through and the other not?
I assume you will still need to do something to the waves along the separation line. What will you do there?
