David has the plexiglas water installed in the Kamloops Lake scene of our Canadian Canyons N scale project layout. Now Eric White can begin installing the stone wall along the waterfront. Follow along as he shows how to prep, paint, and then place the wall before David returns for some follow-up scenery work.

  1. where is Kamloops Lake #2 or is it just me that I must do a search to find it. It is a very good video as are all of the videos you make. This has been one of the best layouts Model Railroader has ever built. The models, scenery and the structures show the talent of the staff. I hope you have a video of operation of the layout at the end.

  2. Excellent work and demonstration to your audience. Liked the multi-color use to give the stone retaining wall a variety in appearance… just as the photo shows. Didn’t fully understand putting the second wall along the inside of the track and facing away from view… couldn’t that have just been ‘landscaped away’? Definitely a ‘top shelf’ layout from start to finish. Thank you MRVP!

  3. Mesmerizing episode, keeping me on edge, and all with a happy ending. It is all in detail including the cotton swab. Great technic ideas for my layout. Look forward to next installment. Thanks again for keeping the incentive to build going.

  4. Nice wall Eric, looks good next to that lake surface. The addition of some sculptamold rocks added to the effect and does mimic the scene shot by Drew from the boat. Thanks.

  5. So, the “cliff hanger” bit for this episode is: “Wait for Kent!” Guess I could do that. Just hope he isn’t wear a cape.
Like the effect, particularly the rock work. Would have hoped Eric had added a little green to the bottom rows of the rock wall and a white lime sort of line just above to indicate high water.
