  1. I’ve enjoyed watching this series having driven thru this area a few times. (I live in Washington State). I will be adding water effects in the not too distant future on my layout and this episode was especially helpful. Thank you!

  2. How timely, I just started on my HO river with similar features. Thanks for the tips of getting the waves.

  3. David, those ripples look realistic and not overdone. Are we going to see Eric install his bridge in another episode? Thanks.

  4. Hi David, I commented on Part 1 that I couldn’t understand why you would go through all that trouble and expense for the water. Now that you have completed it do you find the time and money worth it? Is it that much better than WS Realistic water?

  5. Looks great! Really showing off N scale. Hoping this project layout helps convince some doubters that N can be worthy of respect from serious modelers.

  6. Yes, it is beginning to look a lot like the Fraser River.
Now for the big question…when ya gonna finish this?????

  7. David,

I have also used the WS Deep Water Clear with a tint for a mountain stream in HO. Under water rocks along the edge can be seen along the edge. It is about 1/4″+ deep.I used WS Water Effects for ripples. I’ve taken pictures, but don’t know how to forward them to this blog.

    Don
