Bob’s Train Box Episode 73
A Lionel 4-6-0, Marx tinplate, railroad timetables and other paper items
I like Bob’s presentation – light and breezy, with a bit of humour. Will CTT ever address toy trains available in, or from other countries (even Canada!)? Even Australia and New Zealand had toy trains produced for a few years following WWII.
…Sorry. Posted too quickly. I meant to ad that, according to Roy L. Marten’s book “History of the Wisconsin Central,” the 2645 was originally built by Brooks for the Wisconsin Central Railway in 1900 as WC #247. She was renumbered in 1909 when the Soo leased the Wisconsin Central. Here’s a link to the museum description. https://www.midcontinent.org/equipment-roster/steam-locomotives/soo-line-2645/

Prior to that, she was on post-retirement display at Waukesha WI Roy L. Marten’s book “History of the Wisconsin Central,”
