Awesome, simply awesome. Thank you
Like the fact that most of the engines are small and use Vanderbilt tenders. Noticed that you keep your train order boards green. When I worked for the SP, the only time the boards were green were when the station was closed, or, if open, no orders for a train.
Looked like even back then, the Shawmut was trying to discourage passenger operations. That’s a long, rugged walk to get from one train to the other. Kinda feel sorry for the baggage smashers, as they seem to have an even rougher route between trains and the depot.
Nice layout, nice presentation in the video. I especially love that this doesn’t have that big distracting watermark.
Nicely done Perry! Impressed with the scenery, operations and overall planning that went into your prototypical layout.
Enjoyed the tour very much. Never considered that era before but it is well done and very interesting. The thing I noticed the most was the outstanding track work which shows in the smooth operation of the rolling stock. Very nice.
Perry what an inspirational model railroad. It, looks, feels and operates like the prototype. Appreciate the informative narration during the video. Your's is a period rarely modelled and I know that you must have done a lot of research! The models are extremely well done and the operation is so smooth. Well done!
Now I can appreciate the value of realistic operations as I build my first serious layout.
Excellent layout. Very nice operating plan.
Excellent layout and operation, Perry. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing a wonderful tour. Awesome source of inspiration
Very enjoyable video Thanks for posting.
Very nice layout…the extra attention to neatness really makes this layout stand apart!
Excellent modeling! A very enjoyable video. Thank you for sharing.
Very, very nice!
Utterly fantastic. Love the handlaid track! A lot of time and effort placed to this railroad!
A really fantastic model railroad. A lot of work went into every aspect of this masterpiece. The little scratch building segment was a nice added feature.
KUDOs to you Perry. I loved watching you model in operation. I looked realistic…..a great video as well.
Congratulations on a beautiful layout & operations, absolutely awsome!!
Outstanding! I loved the working semaphore signals and the rolling stock weathering is excellent.
Really an impressive achievement — so little on a layout of this era can be off the shelf, and Perry's track, scenery, structures, bridges, rolling stock, signals, fascia and backdrops are all complimentary to each other, showing a high degree of care and skill, and an astoundingly consistent standard of quality. .
Very good! Thanks for inviting us to view your PS&N!
Great video! I would love to see more like this.
Great layout! Especially enjoyed the narration as well as the tips.
Great layout and I liked how you modeled it in 1923. It has some really wonderful details. Thanks you for sharing.
Mr.Squier- you, sir, have built one of the premier model railroads of all time! Having lived just North of the Friendship/Angelica, NY area in Holland, NY up to 2001, I was able to visit the area you model, many times. In fact, at one time, I belonged to the PS&N RR Historical Society. You have modeled this area "spot on"- that northeast feel, the colors of buildings the terrain- I just can't say enough about your efforts. I am so glad MR made the effort to record your layout for all to see. I hope this is not the last we see of your layout on video or print! Thanks, again.
